BIO is the largest biotechnology convention in the world. The convention brings together industry leaders from across the globe to share ideas and connect. There were over 100 interactive sessions, as well as courses, presentations and meetings held at this convention, allowing for unprecedented access to networking.

“BIO 2022 was a fantastic convention filled with great networking and learning opportunities,” said Breathe BioMedical CEO, Stephen Graham. “It was a thrill to introduce our ground-breaking breath analytics technology to stakeholders from around the world. Many opportunities and potential partnerships have come out of this convention, and I look forward to working with these new collaborators to bring breath testing for disease into the mainstream of healthcare.”

At the convention, Atlantic Canada government leaders – including Premiers and Health Ministers – announced the Atlantic Clinical Trials Network (ACTN). This network will foster innovation, produce world-class research, and most importantly, improve health treatments and outcomes for Atlantic Canadians.

One of the major highlights in San Diego was getting the chance to network and share experiences with other Atlantic Canadian partners and companies. Dr. Graham had the opportunity to lead many formal presentations about our company before our local representatives in government, research and industry, including at the Atlantic Canada BioIndustries Roundtable.

Breathe BioMedical is proud to represent New Brunswick and Atlantic Canada on a global stage and grateful for the opportunities BIO provides. Thank you to the convention organizers and attendees – we look forward to attending again next year!
